I’m linking up with Marsha in the Middle and doing ten questions about birthdays in the tenth month of the year, October! Read on for this fun little questionnaire.

What is your earliest birthday memory? My 8th birthday party when we lived in California, we had brown carpet, and I had a bunch of friends over. That’s all I really remember, but it’s the one that sticks out as one of the first birthday memories.

What is your favorite birthday tradition? Going out to dinner at the place of my choice.

How do you like to celebrate birthdays? Just want to feel special for one day.

What is the best birthday gift you’ve ever received? My DSLR camera from my then boyfriend, now husband. It was my first and only big girl camera as I call it, and I love it. I think that’s where my love for taking photos started from.

What is the best birthday gift you’ve ever given? Cowboy boots to my husband. He wears them all the time during the cold months.

If money were no object, what would be the very best way to celebrate your birthday? On a tropical island, with crystal clear water, relaxing on a beach chair.

What is your favorite birthday treat? Anything chocolate. Kroger has really good chocolate cake, and whipped frosting.

How long do you celebrate your birthday? Only a day lol I wish it was a week long celebration, Gilmore Girls style.

What is the best thing about your birthday? That I made it another trip around the sun, and I have another year to be here on earth with the ones I love.

What is your sign? Pisces.

Well, that was fun! I love birthday things.

  1. This was fun to read! I have very clear memories of my 8th birthday party, too! I remember a friend giving me a trifold velcro wallet with sailboats on it and I was really disappointed because it wasn’t girlier! LOL
