Today is Dr. Seuss’ birthday! I put a cute little string cheese treat in Hadley’s lunch today to celebrate it.

I put a few signs up in the living room about Dr. Seuss. Where he was born, and the day he was born. I had some plans to make some cute snacks, but didn’t get around to it. But did find a great quote, “Why fit in when you were born to stand out!” Just love that quote, it reminds me of my daughter Hadley so much. She is her own unique individual, she does everything on her own terms, and isn’t afraid to do her own thing in situations, and doesn’t care what anyone thinks! I hope she continues to have that mindset as she continues to grow into her own.

A little side note, did you hear the news about some of Dr. Seuss’ books? Here is the article on CNN. I’m not a big news person, and I don’t like watching it much, but the reasons that things happen anymore are so insane to me! These books have been around for a very long time, and now that we are in the year 2021, some of the books portray people in ‘hurtful and wrong’ ways? I just don’t get it. Just had to add this in here so it can be something to look back on years from now.
