- What is your love language?
- Talking. I love to talk about things.
- Favorite love songs?
- I don’t really have a favorite love song. The song we danced to at our wedding was Jason Aldean “Big Green Tractor” haha I don’t know why, but every time I hear that song I think of Kevin! So we made it our song!
- Flowers, chocolate, or something else?
- Flowers. Always flowers. My favorite is a purple rose, which is very rare to find!
- Favorite romantic / romcom movie?
- I can watch movies over and over again, but my favorite for this would be The Proposal and Two Weeks Notice. I’m a big Sandra Bullock fan!
- Favorite childhood Valentine’s memory?
- Passing out a single card, that ripped out evenly. I remember picking which card would go to what friend in class. My how things have changed!
- How did you celebrate Valentine’s day?
- We usually get each other a card, and some years he’ll get me flowers. I’ll get the kids some candy, and some small things. Nothing major.
- Any love or romance traditions?
- I love cards. If I could, I would keep every card I’ve ever received.
- When do you feel most loved?
- On my birthday and Mother’s Day. I absolutely love anything handmade by my kids. It melts my heart every single time.
- Big night out or chill at home?
- I could do either, it all depends on what it is but nine times out of ten I would opt to chill at home.
- Do you wear red / pink on Valentine’s Day?
- Yes! This year I wore a pink and red striped top, with my favorite jean jacket over it, and red earrings

My best friend from high school loved purple roses too and at the time she was getting married worked at a florist… I think mostly so she could afford and find all those purple roses she had in her wedding! I’m a huge Sandra Bullock fan too. Miss Congeniality is another good one as is While You Were Sleeping.
I bet all those purple roses at the wedding were beautiful!
Oh, a purple rose sounds lovely! But yes, they must be quite rare.
They are so pretty!
Oh my gosh we did the same thing with our Valentines when we were little- picking out the specific ones for everyone in your class- such a great memory!
Yes a great memory, crazy how things are so different these days.
