Our Nashville trip.

This trip was decided on a whim, sort of. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law were already going to Nashville and invited us to go with them. Kevin tried surprising me because it rarely happens (haha), but I ended up finding out and we still went! And had a ball!

Weather wise, we were fairly lucky because the forecast called for rain the entire time. We got caught in one light drizzle, and the other times we must’ve missed the rain!

First stop was Jason Aldean’s for some food! The food was pretty good!

Second stop was Honky Tonk Central! Live music is pretty much the standard at every single one of these places. Since COVID, you are not allowed to dance or stand. You have to sit down at all of these places, and have to wear a mask when standing or walking around.

Next stop was AJ’s Good Time bar, which was our favorite place! We had great seats, and the music was so good! We stayed here the longest, and didn’t really want to leave but wanted to see other places.

Next was Legends Corner, the music was good just kind of okay for me.

We needed some food at this point, so we hit up Rock Bottom and my sister-in-law got carded! I had to take a photo of this because at our age you just don’t really get carded anymore.

We went back to the hotel to get an umbrella, and to put my hair up because of the rain drops! The hair was a mess pretty much the whole time, but I didn’t care after awhile. Kevin was going to wear his boots with his sweat pants, but we convinced him not too!

The Whiskey Shot was a very young crowd, just like majority of the town but we still didn’t care. It was fun just being together! The young singer at this place was a very young guy with his guitar only, he was pretty good though!

Saturday morning we went for a quick run. While we waited for the other two, we took a picture in the hotel with our lovely masks on. If you can’t tell already, I’m soo over wearing them!

It felt good to run around Nashville, you can tell by the map above we went all over. We took a few stops to look at the scenery, see how high the water was by the river!

After our run, we all got ready and then headed back out on the town. This day was the most rainy, but was scattered. We went to the rooftops of one of the places, I think this was the Mellow Mushroom.

We found this cute, small, very empty place called Alley Tap.

Our last place to go was the birthday party! The guy in the middle turned 50, and what better way to celebrate a big milestone than going to Nashville with close friends and family!

Nashville was a first for my husband, and he loved it! He got to wear his boots which makes him even more happy! A whirlwind weekend and so much fun.

Happy first day of March too. Just love new beginnings, and excited for fresh starts.
