Happy May 1st everyone! Recapping our week on the blog! Day off school, half day, softball game, and more!
Monday April 24
Monday was a pretty chill day; Hadley was off school from First Communion. Huxley just loves it when she’s home on a weekday. Even though he really has no clue what day it is, he just loves her being around period. For bedtime, after we read books, Huxley has started walking to his bed and it’s the cutest thing.

Tuesday April 25
Hadley had a half day of school, so she came home and ate lunch and then chilled. She had softball practice later that night, her and her Dad went a little early to get some more practice in. For dinner, I made ham and cheese sliders that are so good but more of an appetizer type meal but it was still good.

Wednesday April 26
Working out most mornings still. My lease was up for my car, so I got another one a few months early. I plan to share more on that soon. Kevin had a game to umpire later in the evening, so Huxley and I just chilled.

Thursday April 27
I’ve been trying to share more of what Huxley eats, some days it’s easy and some days it’s hard. To come up with ideas to feed your child, plus yourself and family is so hard sometimes. When it’s nice out, Hadley loves to do homework in the garage or somewhere different than inside. And funny selfies by Hadley herself.

Friday April 28
Worked out in the morning. Kevin fell asleep on the couch for a short time, and Huxley never left his side. He kept touching his mouth, face, and Kevin never woke up. For Huxleys afternoon nap, Hadley and I had some peace and quiet and we both sat on the couch reading. I read a magazine, and she read her library book from school. After Huxley went to bed, we had a movie night!

Saturday April 29
Eggs and toast for breakfast, and then softball for Hadley! Kevin umpired two more games after he coached Hadleys game, and Hadley just loves to go with him. So Huxley and I headed home to eat lunch, and then he took his second nap. When he woke up, we had a little freak out moment. He had gotten a hold of the Desitin tube on his dresser, I guess he could reach pretty far, and woke up with Desitin on his shirt, pants, crib sheet, and I found the tube opened on the floor under his crib. Long story short, I ended up calling poison control and they said he’ll be fine. He puked twice, and it was straight up Desitin. We gave him some water, and fed him dinner like normal, and he was good to go. If your young child ends up eating Desitin, they’ll be fine. It was a little crazy for a few minutes, but he’s okay!

Sunday April 30
Kevin had four games to umpire, and they all got cancelled due to the rain. So we pretty much chilled all day, and the big kids came over around lunch time. We had Chipotle for lunch, and hamburgers, corn on the cob, and mac and cheese for dinner. Pretty chill Sunday.

Happy Monday everyone, have a great week! And as always, thanks for reading!

Great job on the workouts as always! Lovin’ the softball pics and so excited that softball season is here again- yeah!
Oh no! We had to call poison control a time or two as well. So glad Huxley was fine in the end.
