Weekly recap.

Recapping our week on the blog! Shopping for school stuff, the zoo, a dairy bar, soccer practice, outdoor movie night, birthday party, the pool, and a sleepover!

Monday July 31
We had a busy start to our week! Early morning walk with little man, and then we headed out across the river to Kentucky for school uniforms. The local uniform store by our house had closed, so we had to go to the nearest one which was in Kentucky. We stopped at Chick-fil-a for lunch and did a to-go order from Crumbl. We did a little taste test and posted it on Instagram, it was fun and so good! Later on in the day, Kevin took Hadley shoe shopping. Shopping for school shoes, cleats, and a soccer ball. After dinner, the neighborhood girls came down to hangout with Hadley.

Tuesday August 1
Another busy day to our week, started off the morning by going to the zoo. Went home for Huxleys nap, and then went to the Mt. Healthy Dairy Bar for dinner and dessert. We are checking off our summer bucket list! This place was so good, they have food, really good ice cream, and a drive-thru!

Wednesday August 2
We all went to the trail for a walk in the morning, and then went to Kroger for some things. Hadley was bagging our groceries, because it seems like every time, we go there aren’t enough baggers. And then at the end of the day, soccer practice. It was hot!

Thursday August 3
Morning walk with Huxley. Hadley had a playdate with a friend and went roller skating and played some games. After Kevin got home, he cut the grass and Huxley was about to go to bed. When Kevin works a lot, you can tell Huxley misses him because he wants to be with him all the time when he’s home. It’s so cute.

Friday August 4
Walk in the morning and spent most of the rest of the day getting ready for our outdoor movie night. As a prize from her playdate the day before, she and her friend got a BFF necklace. Hadley cut the string and tied it to her new bookbag for the year as a keychain. It looked so cute!

Saturday August 5
Started walking down one of the private drives for some extra steps on our walk, Hadley joined us on her scooter. Hadley is such a great sister, I feel like I say that every other day, but she really is the best. She was playing with Huxley in the garage while I watered the flowers because when I water the flowers now, Huxley likes to run away! Like literally, he’ll walk towards the street, or try to walk in the backyard by himself. He’s a handful! We had our neighborhood outdoor movie night; it was so much fun! Sunday August 6
Another busy day to our weekend, started out with Kevin and Hadley going to Walmart to get a fishing pole for a fishing derby later in the day. And then, Hadley and Kevin went to a birthday party for one of Kevin’s firefighter friends’ daughters. Hadley had a blast! Huxley and I stayed home since the birthday party was during Huxleys naptime. After the birthday party, Huxley and I met them at the pool. Once we got to the pool, we found out the fishing derby got changed to a later date in August. Hadley was bummed, but she had something even more fun to do. Her first sleepover! One of her friends was at the pool and invited her to spend the night. I was a little nervous for her, she hasn’t spent the night anywhere other than grandparents before, but she did great!
