What to do with all of those Christmas cards?

Do you throw away the Christmas cards you receive each year? If I’m being honest, I used to all the time. Until this year! I decided I’m going to keep them for a few years.

Maybe it’s because I’m getting older, and I want to look back on so many things each year.

All you do, is take all of your Christmas cards and put them in whatever order you like. I did all the paper cards in the back, and all the photo cards in the front. I have this super duty hole punch, that I’ve had for years, and I use it all the time! Use a pencil and draw two small dots on where you want to punch your holes. And then use two one-inch rings, another item I’ve had for years, and put each card through the rings.

And there you have it! A nice memento to have each year during Christmas time. I plan to bring these rings of cards out each Christmas, for everyone to look back on. I made a little label for the year, cut the kraft paper and hole punched it. Super simple easy project!

  1. Lovely idea! I typically keep the cards my mum and brother send. You might like to join my link up on Wednesdays, all content welcome.

  2. I used to do this and then lost the few stacks of them I did have… I wish I had been more intentional about keeping them all from year to year; especially the photo ones!
