My favorite action movies.

I’m starting a movie series each month this year, by doing different genres! Last year, I started some of my favorite Halloween, and Christmas. First up, A for action! Here are my favorite action movies! 

BACKDRAFT.
With my husband being a firefighter and all, I had to include this movie in my favorite action movies. Backdraft is a good one and can be scary in real life. Love Kurt Russell though! Movie can be found here.

CASINO ROYALE.
I love most of all the double 07 movies, but this one stands out to me the most. I love Daniel Craig in this movie! He plays James Bond so well in my opinion! Movie can be found here.

DIE HARD WITH A VENGENCE.
Classic action movie with Bruce Willis! All the Die Hard movies are great, but this one with Samuel L. Jackson is my favorite! Movie can be found here.

INDEPENDENCE DAY.
Will Smith is a great actor, despite his choices off camera with Chris Rock, I still like his movies. Maybe not his character in real life some days! This is a good alien movie, that is full of action and a little bit of comedy. Movie can be found here.

JUMANJI.
Kevin Hart and Jack Black are my favorite in this Jumanji remake. The one part where Kevin Hart is running from the bad guys, and yells something about his legs can’t move any faster makes me crack up every time. Movie can be found here.

JURASSIC PARK & JURASSIC WORLD.
I have always been a fan of the Jurassic Park movies, so I had to include them all as one pick! MISSION IMPOSSIBLE.
Tom Cruise in this movie is awesome! I love it. Super far-fetched, well, maybe haha. But I still love the action-packed movie! Movie can be found here.

PATRIOT GAMES.
Another one I’ve seen so many times! I love this one with Harrison Ford. Just love him as an actor period. Movie can be found here.

SPEED.
I’ve seen Speed so many times. Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock together are soo good! Movie can be found here.

TAKEN.
I’ve only seen this movie two or three times, it scares me! I am always worried about strangers when out in public when I’m with my kids. The determination of Liam Neeson in this movie to find his daughter, is so amazing. Movie can be found here.

TERMINATOR 2 JUDGMENT DAY.
I don’t know what it is, but I seem to like a lot of the second movies in the action genre. Terminator 2 is my favorite, no reason really, I just like this one the best. Movie can be found here.

THE BOURNE IDENTITY.
All of the Bourne movies are great, but the first one is the best for me. Despite what I just said about liking most of the second movies in the action genre, I do like the first one of the Bourne movies. Movie can be found here.

THE FUGITIVE.
An older one, but a good one! Harrison Ford is just a great actor, like I mentioned earlier with the Patriot Games movie. Movie can be found here.

TOP GUN.
The best fighter pilot movie ever. I can’t even say how many times I’ve seen this movie. This is my husband’s favorite movie of all time, and he can recite the entire movie word for word. I can almost recite the entire movie. Just the best. Movie can found here.

TOP GUN: MAVERICK.
For a sequel to Top Gun, this one isn’t bad. Some parts are a little far-fetched, but in the twenty-first century, what do you expect right?!?! I still think the first original Top Gun is the best one, but the follow up Top Gun: Maverick is not bad in this day in age. I’ve heard they are talking about a third movie for Top Gun, I hope they don’t destroy its reputation. Some movies are best to leave alone!
