Instead of doing Friday Favorites, I decided to continue with the vacation recaps or else it will take forever! Here is our vacation recap, part three!
Tuesday, July 30
On my way to the gym in the morning, I noticed this sign in the elevator that the pool will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday of the week. Not really the greatest news when you are on vacation, and your kids go to the pool just about every single day. Worked out on the treadmill, this was the first time someone else was in the gym with me.

I took Hadley to the pool for a little bit in the morning, and then Kevin came down with Huxley so I could get ready. A little bit later, Huxley came back up for lunch and then a nap. Kevin and Hadley stayed at the pool until it was time to go.

After lunch, we ventured out to the Flora-Bama, which I believe is named that because half of the place is in Florida, and half is in Alabama right on the line. The kids had an appetizer / snack there, and we sat there and listened to the music. They do have bingo for kids, but we got there too late, and no seating was available. It was a fun atmosphere!

After the Flora-Bama, we met up with my parents and brother at a gaming place. First thing was the bumper boats, Kevin and the kids did it together and got soaked! It was fun to watch. And then we did the go-karts which was so much fun! I can’t believe Huxley loved it, he was smiling from ear to ear loving every second of it.

After the go-karts, we went inside, and the kids played all the games. They had so much fun! Huxley loved the boat ride; he would just sit on it and think he’s riding it. Hadley and Kaiden were off on their own most of the time. Huxley had fun doing his own thing too.

After the games, we did the go-karts one more time. Kevin and I switched kids, and I have to say that I beat Kevin both times! We were so surprised Huxley loved them!

Once we got home, Hadley was falling asleep on the balcony. She’s been a busy girl on vacation!

Wednesday, July 31
Worked out on the treadmill. Brought Huxley down to the beach, he wasn’t feeling the greatest this day. He had a runny nose, like constantly running, and was just cranky. Kevin went up to the condo with him for lunch and nap.

I stayed down at the beach; it sprinkled a little bit but only for a few minutes and it was nothing major. Rain drops feel great at the beach when your hot! The kids dug a big hole with some other kids they met at the beach. For dinner, we ate at the condo and stayed in.

Thursday, August 1
Skipped a workout today, since we had plans for breakfast. We went to The Hangout for a Pirate and Princess breakfast! It was a little young for Hadley, but she was a trooper, and I think she enjoyed it. They had a guy dressed as a pirate, and even talked like him, and he scared Huxley to death. Kevin took him away from the “show” they put on as you eat breakfast. Hadley joined in, danced, and even got a little star from a princess.

After we ate breakfast, they take the kids on a treasure hunt around the place. It was cute! At the end, they each got a gold coin out of the treasure chest.

After breakfast, we went back to the condo. Huxley ate a light lunch, then took a nap. I stayed up at the condo with him, while Kevin and Hadley went to the beach. While Huxley napped, I made some kiddie jello-shots like I did for the Fourth of July.

We went to this place called The Wharf, it’s like an outlet mall, with restaurants, and things for the kids. Hadley tried this surfing simulator, she did pretty good at first! And then she got her face painted, she requested a jelly fish. The lady did a great job. And then Hadley tried to get Huxley to go down the bouncy house water slide, he did one time and that was all he needed. And then we waited for the little train to pick us up, it takes you around the entire place but it’s a short ride. Huxley loved the train! My parents met us there, we walked around a little and then after most of the places had a super long wait, we decided to eat at Dick’s Last Resort. I’m not the biggest fan of that place, but they had the shortest wait!

After dinner, the kids got some ice cream. They shops were really cool there, it’s just not the most fun to shop with Huxley he has the shortest attention span right now.

When we got back to the condo, we took the kids to the pool for a quick night swim. The pool glows a light blue color, and it felt amazing. Huxley loved it, and his shirt glowed in the dark! We swam for just a little bit, and then up to bed for Huxley. Hadley tried on her softball shades her grandma got her at The Wharf.

Kevin put Huxley to bed, and Hadley and I went crab hunting. She loves to grab them with her hands!

Friday, August 2
Hadley loves to sit out on the balcony in the mornings, who doesn’t right? The sound of the morning ocean waves is just the best. Hadley joined me for my workout, she did a little bit of everything for just a few minutes each but at least she was doing something!

Today was Kevin’s turn to sit up with Huxley for nap, so I was at the beach with Hadley and the cousins. Why are young kids obsessed with the Prime drink these days? I don’t get it. I think it’s nasty! My dad and Hadley tossed a little bit before it started raining.

The kids swam in the indoor pool while it rained, lightning and thundered. I will not be anywhere near a beach when it’s lightning out! The rain stopped after a while, and we went back out to the beach. My gel nails were holding up so good, they were the best gel manicure I’ve ever had!

This was our last night, so we hung out at the pool after the beach for a little bit. And the kids got more Kona ice.

We went out to eat at Lulu’s for dinner. Kevin and Huxley stayed back at the condo, we had wanted to stay in and pack up and all that, but Hadley and I went to dinner. It was hot hot. Eating outside in the humidity, but the view was pretty, and the kids loved the atmosphere. Sand everywhere for them to play, a ropes course they could do, and a little marina of boats to look at. Hadley and Kaiden got matching bracelets in the shop after dinner. And then we headed home to hit the sheets!

And that was day 7-10! Check back for more next week!
