Our Fourth of July was a little different this year. We spent it at home with some family. I had my parents and some cousins over for an impromptu little gathering!
We bought a few sparklers and pop-its!
We made a fun drink for the kids. Froze ice cubes of red Gatorade and blue Gatorade, and put Sprite in the cup. The kids loved it!
Kiddie jello-shots were a huge hit! All I did was make regular jello in those little jello shot containers, and the kids thought it was the best thing ever. It kept the little ones occupied while the big kids did sparklers.
After everyone left and Huxley went to bed, we stayed up a little bit with Hadley and watched some fireworks we could see from our street.
We had a great last minute Fourth of July! Sometimes when you don’t plan things, ends up being the most fun!
