Monday September 9
Some mornings, we have to wake Huxley up to take Hadley to school. He grabbed all of his stuffies to bring with him in the car. Got home from school drop off, and did a workout. Found a funny meme about Facebook that made me think how true it really is. Tried a new face mask before I went to bed, I love the feeling of a fresh clean face, and putting a cold face mask on to go to bed. Puts me to sleep soo fast!
Tuesday September 10
Kevin came home from the firehouse just in time to take Hadley to school. Did a YouTube workout. Kevin made the news from a local fire he was at. We have a mini fridge that we keep inside, it needed to get defrosted so Kevin took it out on the front porch. He used a hammer to get the big chunk of ice out and ended up breaking it! Huxley had a ball playing with the ice and all his cars, but now we need a new mini fridge. Kevin and I stayed up and watched the debate, always a comedy act!
Wednesday September 11
Worked out in the morning, my favorite time to or I feel ugh the rest of the day. This year I am scheduled to work lunch duty only a handful of times instead of once a month. Took Huxley with me because out of the handful of times I’m scheduled for lunch duty, Kevin got overtime this day haha! Huxley loved lunch duty, we come prepared though. I pack a small lunch, snacks, and his toys. He had fun helping out the 8th graders at the snack bar! After school, I dropped Hadley off to Kevin at drill school, he was helping out with the newest class at the training building. Kevin took Hadley to softball, it’s the farther away practice and since he didn’t have to work for practice he opted to take her. Huxley and I went to Sam’s Club after we dropped Hadley off, only went for a few things and ended up getting Huxley a fire truck toy. He loved it so much, he brought it into the bathroom for his bath before bed.
Thursday September 12
Morning workout! The weather here in Ohio has been pretty warm still, but I decided to pitch all the flowers on our porch. I am keeping the flowers in the mulch still, they will last a little bit longer if I keep watering them. When Huxley woke up from his nap this day, he had dried blood all over his face and hands, it was the strangest thing! I checked his entire body for something bleeding but didn’t find anything, so I’m thinking he had picked his nose or something? It was so weird! Binged watched “The Perfect Couple” in a few days on Netflix, it was pretty good! Have you seen it?
Friday September 13
Morning workout! Huxley and I were a little lazy in the morning, just sat on the couch watching our electronics and the tv. Hadley had softball games this night, and I finally got to go! The previous two games Kevin had gotten off work to attend, basically to help me out because they are kind of late so he has been going and I stayed home with Huxley to put him to bed. The first game tonight was a little earlier than the others, so we all got to go. Hadley is loving her new team, they are currently 5-1!
Saturday September 14
Walked around the neighborhood solo with my music blaring! I love to walk, it’s the best exercise for me. Kevin set up the UC Bearcat for the day, only put him out for game day. I met my mom and aunt to do a little shopping, it was nice to get out for a few hours. Came back home and Kevin left to work a detail for the fire department.
Sunday September 15
Worked out in the morning! Kevin had another work detail, he was part of the motorcade for JD Vance as he was flying out of the city. Natalie and her boyfriend came over to watch the Bengals game! It was so good to see her and hangout. But what a terrible game to lose by one point to the Chiefs. We grilled hamburgers for dinner, and just chilled at home. It was a nice Sunday.
