Monday October 28
Since I started a new job, I don’t really get up in the mornings to workout anymore. I’ll work out after work in the afternoons if I can. It’s been an adjustment, and I’ll figure out how to get my workouts back in someway. At Hadleys practice, one of her coaches is a fireman and he comes while he’s on shift. This night, the other two fireman came and watched practice and Huxley was in heaven. He stayed right by them for a long time, just staring and smiling. It was so cute.
Tuesday October 29
Kevin’s birthday! We had steak for dinner, and cupcakes for dessert. We sang Happy Birthday, and the kids enjoyed dessert.
Wednesday October 30
Worked out after work, with a YouTube video. Hadley started a softball camp with the Cincinnati Reds, it’s a free camp they put on. A few of her friends from her softball team all went too! Huxley had fun playing around the softballs outside the camp.
Thursday October 31
Happy Halloween! Huxley dressed up as a “digger worker” we like to call it! I wore a spiderweb top, and a bright orange headband. The daycare teachers took photos of the kids, they gave them glow sticks and they were dancing around. Look at Huxley in the very back so happy! At home, it was time to go trick-or-treating! Hadley decided last minute to dress up as a minion, she already had the costume from her softball tournament. Huxley did great walking around, he lasted about an hour and he carried his bag of candy himself the entire time. The weather was rainy, but it was still a good night of trick-or-treating for the kids! Hadley ended up walking around with the neighbors, Huxley was too slow for her.
Friday November 1
Love the start of a new month! I’m ready for the colder temperatures that the ber months bring. We went to Kroger to pickup a prescription for Huxley, he’s had a cough for awhile now. Just hung around at home, and went to bed early.
Saturday November 2
Early start to the morning, with a two day softball tournament an hour away. I came prepared, we brought Huxley his scooter, firetruck, lawnmower, iPad, and lots of snacks. My parents came out to watch, which was a huge help to me too! Hadley got hit with the ball by the pitcher for first time, and the poor girl cried hard. First time I’ve seen her cry at a softball game, and she’s nine years old. Hadley had two games, 9am and 11:40am, it was pretty cold for the first game. By the second game, it had warmed up enough to take one layer off. They lost both games, so we headed home around lunch time and Huxley fell asleep in the car for just a little bit. We got home, ate lunch, and then tried to put him down for a nap but he wasn’t having it. So we ate dinner, and went to bed. It was a long day.
Sunday November 3
Up early to do softball hair, I’m slowly getting better at different hairstyles. Still want to learn how to french braid though! Kevin was able to go to this game, it was nice having us both at a game to help with Huxley. She lost the first game, so they were out of the tournament. Came home, at lunch, and Kevin went to bed since he was at the firehouse the day before. Huxley took a good nap today, and Hadley went to play with neighbor friends.
