Here is the planner I’m going to use for 2025. It’s a new to me planner that I’ve not used before. The planner is Emily Ley’s Simplified Planner!
When you first open the planner, it has a thick page that has a pocket on the front and back. I love having a pocket page because I put things in there and it stays all in one place. The sticker page came with the planner also to mark off important dates, or reminders for things, etc.
The monthly calendar page. I use this page for keeping track of bills, I hand write them in on the days they are due. I circle pay dates. And that’s how I pay the bills! I also write birthdays on the left hand side. I slacked on sending birthday cards this year, and it’s going to be a new goal for 2025 to send birthday cards each month. I love sending things in the mail to people!
I color code everyone in the family. Each year, Hadley picks what her color is going to be and then I typically keep everyone else the same colors.
The monthly tabs are so pretty! I like the thick tabs to make it easy to go back and forth from each month.
I picked the weekly version of the planner, I like to see the week at one time. I am such an avid planner user, I have it opened all day long, and if it’s not opened, I open it multiple times a day. If I didn’t use a planner, I wouldn’t remember a thing! This specific planner, also has a daily version, which has one entire page dedicated to each date. I don’t have that many things to write for one day, so the weekly version will always be my favorite.
In the very back of the planner are blank pages for notes! I use these pages for things to remember each month, or events that come up every year that I don’t want to forget.
I chose the cabana pinstripe planner! I love the color, and love the name cabana, reminds me of summer! I’m excited to see how this planner works for me this next year!
