Christmas Planner 2024.

Here is the Christmas planner I have been making every year, for the last four years now! If you have been here on the blog for awhile, you will be familiar with this planner. It’s the easiest, and most fun thing I do for the holiday season. It helps me stay organized!

How I make this planner year after year is super simple! I buy a composition notebook from the dollar store, find a cute Christmas background I like, print it out to fit the front and back of the notebook, and use that as the cover. I also make a logo with the year on it.

My favorite part of making a Christmas planner is all the tabs I make by hand. I could make it fancier, or even buy a pre-made one, but I love to make them! This year, instead of hand writing the tabs I used a label maker.

Here are the details of each tab!
CARDS: I’ve always kept track of who I send cards to each year, what company I use for the cards, and make a column of received and sent for the cards.

THE LIST: For each person I buy a gift for, I put in this section. I write each persons name, list of gifts, the cost, where I bought it from, and then a received and wrapped column.

BUCKET LIST: Each Christmas season, I try my best to come up with a bucket list of things to do. I write down any ideas here for the bucket list.

MENU: For Christmas Eve / Christmas Day morning breakfast, I will write down what we are going to have in this tab.

TO DO: Anything I have on a to-do list for anything Christmas related goes here.

CFD PARTY:  We host the fire departments Christmas party each year, any planning I do for that will go in this tab.

SNITCH:  Our Elf on the Shelf’s name is Snitch. I added this new tab this year, and printed off a blank December calendar to write in ideas for the elf each day. I have this tab hidden behind all the other tabs, in case Hadley were to see the notebook. I do try and keep this notebook in my work bag, or underneath other notebooks.

I have to write things down or I will never remember anything! I love it, and it’s super cheap and easy to do! Their are plenty of Christmas planners out there for purchase, but this will cost you at least a $1.25 or more depending on how much you want to put into the planner.

I’m curious, how do you keep track of everything you have to do for Christmas?

Happy Christmas planning friends!
