Recapping the week on the blog today. Elf on the shelf shenanigans, workouts, softball, new book, St. Nick, and lots of volleyball. Linking up with Holly and Sarah! Here is the recap…
Monday December 02
Snitch the elf brought a nice / naughty list, Kevin and Huxley were on the naughty list! Hadley loved it. Walking into the basement to do laundry, I see an open bowl of Chipotle and a plate of crumbs. Living with twenty year old Brady is an adjustment for sure haha, but…it has been great too. It’s nice seeing him more, and hanging out.

Tuesday December 03
Snitch the elf landed in a cup of marshmallows and hot chocolate. Watching Huxley on the cameras at his daycare, they were playing with the parachute and bouncing the balls on top of it. He loved it! All the kids were jumping up and down. Did my workout when I got home from work. And then we headed off to softball, Huxley and I went to Kroger while practice was going on. Hadley goes straight to sleep most nights, softball is good for her though!

Wednesday December 04
Snitch the elf made a chip-mas tree! I have been freezing at work this week, I have to layer up in order to be any sort of comfortable. Got home from work and worked out. Hadley had her last Cincinnati Reds softball camp. When Huxley was born, we subscribed to Dolly Parton’s imagination library, and they send him a new book each month. This month was his favorite, diggers, trucks, etc.! It’s a great book.

Thursday December 05
Snitch the elf rode shot gun all day. Hadley had a hard time finding the elf this morning. I’m not sure if I like my cheapie orange pen caddy or not, it’s too short for the pens. Worked out when I got home. The Cincinnati Reds softball camp shared a photo of all the girls that attended the camp. Hadley is in the way back hidden!

Friday December 06
St. Nick brought Snitch the elf a friend, baby Snowball! We can wear jeans on Fridays at work, but I’m not a huge jeans girl. So I wear a jeans jacket, with my layers, and leggings! At Huxley’s school, they put the Mickey Santa out! Hadley and Huxley chilling by the tree on their iPads.

Saturday December 07
Started our busy Saturday with a trip to Dunkin Donuts for the kids. Huxley loves those donut holes. Did a workout in the morning. Snitch and Snowball were in the kitchen cabinet inside Huxley’s potty training M&M jar. Kevin was in a Christmas parade with the fire department. Hadley had a volleyball tournament, she played two games. Kevin made an appearance for a few minutes before he had to go on a run. My dad and aunt Amy came to her game, while my mom stayed home with Huxley. It was a huge help! The girls on the volleyball team all thought Kevin came in the fire truck, but was sadly mistaken. They still took a photo in front of the little truck haha Kevin and I had a Christmas party to go to, one of the parents in Hadley’s grade puts this on every year. It’s always fun!

Sunday December 08
Snitch and snowball hanging out on the wall in the family room. My mom got the kids the coolest advent calendar I’ve ever seen! Hadley loves to read, and it’s full of mini books about major people like Elton John and Taylor Swift. It’s super cute! Here is the link if interested! I left my phone in the car for Hadley’s volleyball game, because some days I’m so distracted with Huxley I do that. Breakfast for dinner because I had nothing thawed out!

That sounds like such a super fun week! (My 20 year old likes to wait until he has at least 2 armfuls of dirty dishes to actually bring them to the kitchen sink!). I used to nag or clean them up myself but I’ve completely given up.
Oh my goodness, I can’t stand it! Only reason I have to go down there is to do laundry and I try not to look around LMAO
What a great week. I love all the elf antics. Kind of miss that stage
I know I’m going to miss all these “young” things with them, so I love it!
