Weekly Recap.

Recapping the week on the blog today. I’m a little behind, from moving the office around, which means my computer isn’t fully setup yet. Trip to the lake, no cavities, desk setup, a really fun concert, and a good start to setting up the new office! Here is the recap…

Monday January 27
Kevin took Huxley to the lake for the day! He had to fix something for his dad. Huxley was so excited to go! After work, Hadley had a dentist appointment. She had zero cavities! She is the best brusher, she has yet to have a cavity in her young age of 10. After the dentist, we got a slush puppie to celebrate no cavities and we usually get an ICEE on Monday’s but the local one by her school hasn’t had their ICEE machine working in a few weeks now. Worked out when we got home. I got the cutest in a meeting tassel from this etsy shop, it’s so cute! I put all of these different paint colors on the wall in the office, and I just can’t seem to decide on a color. I want something that reminds me of the ocean. Hadley had softball practice this night, I took her and did some blog / planner stuff. It’s nice to go alone when Kevin is home, so he can put Huxley to bed at a decent time.

Tuesday January 28
Hadley had Catholic Schools Week and got some prizes on this day. Worked out after work, and then pretty much just chilled. It’s nice having a little bit of a break from all the sports.

Wednesday January 29
Hadley served at all school mass today, she gets so excited on those days. I wish I could see her one time! They played bingo at school. Worked out after work. Kevin had overtime at the firehouse.

Thursday January 30
Used my in a meeting tassel for the first time, I just love it! Got a Happy New Year postcard from my aunt which was nice. Huxley got a prize out of the prize box at school. Whenever he does good at circle time, or good behavior, etc. they get to pick something from the prize box! It’s a fun thing for him. After dinner, we watched Big Bang Theory on TV. Huxley actually sat still for awhile and watched it, maybe he’s a Sheldon fan like we are! After Huxley went to bed, we gave Hadley a new bat we bought her. She’s been needing a new one so bad!

Friday January 31
Hadley was off school for teacher in-service day. Kevin put her desk together, and she was so excited! When I came home from work I came right upstairs to find her sitting at her desk. Worked out. Kevin and Hadley did some batting practice in the garage with her new bat. While they were in the garage, I did the second coat of paint on Huxley’s dresser.

Saturday February 1
Hadley had softball practice in the morning. Huxley took a nap. And then Kevin took the kids to my parents while I got ready. We went to the Zach Top concert! And had so much fun! We went with three other fireman and their wives / fiance. I couldn’t decide whether or not to wear the jean jacket or not, so I didn’t but still had Kevin hold it at times haha. Brady, his girlfriend, and his friend ended up going at the last minute too. They wanted to go stand in the middle of the crazy crowd. It wasn’t the best spot to stand, I could barely see Zach, but it was still a really good concert! He’s so good live! Hadley and Huxley had the best time at my parents house!

Sunday February 2
Kevin had to work at the firehouse, but only a 12 hour shift. I worked out first thing in the morning and then started working on moving all the downstairs office furniture to upstairs. Oh my goodness, I cannot believe I lifted half the things I did all by myself! One of the bookcases sort of fell on my ankle, as I was trying to carry it up the stairs. I got everything upstairs except for the desk, it basically fell apart as I tried to move it. I’m amazed I didn’t break my neck on the stairs with all the heavy furniture. It’s hard moving furniture solo, but I did it! After Huxley’s nap at my parents, I went over to pick them up. It was nice to have a few hours to myself to get some stuff done around the house with no interruptions. Hadley fell asleep for a few minutes on the way home. We got home and ate dinner, and then played in the new kid playroom! The kids loved it!
