I’m joining Joyce for the first time for this week’s Wednesday Hodgepodge! Each week she will post questions to answer, and share with others. It’s a fun little prompt, and I am glad to be participating.
1. The Hodgepodge lands on National Picnic Day…will you celebrate? Do you enjoy picnics? Dining out of doors picnic or otherwise? What are three or four things I’d find in your picnic basket?
No, I will not be celebrating National Picnic Day. I do enjoy picnics though! I love to eat outside, any chance I can. If it’s gross disgusting hot out, not so much. Unless it’s hot and right by the ocean with a nice breeze. You would find a sandwich, cubed cheese, pretzels, and some water or vodka lol.
2. A time recently where you felt ‘antsy’?
Every day when I pick up my three-year-old son from daycare and come home to do potty training. Boys are soo much different than girls when it comes to potty training!
3. As the saying goes…’when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.’ Do you like lemonade? When did you recently need to make lemonade out of lemons, figuratively speaking?
I do like lemonade, prefer pink lemonade. Figuratively speaking, I recently had to internally decide if I was going to let something bother me or not. I chose not to, and to let it go. It’s a hard thing for me to do most times, but occasionally, if I make my mind up, I can do it.
4. Recently five ‘celebrities’ made a brief (ll minute) foray into space aboard Jeff Bezos Blue Origin rocket. Did you hear about this? Your thoughts? If money were no object is this something you’d like to do someday?
I did hear about this! I personally think it’s dumb haha! I have zero desire to go to space, I’d rather hop on a regular airplane to the beach or somewhere tropical.
5. Favorite thing about the ‘space’ you’re sitting in right now?
My new office space at home. I am slowly getting it decorated and organized, and I will share all the fun details here on the blog once it’s all finished! I bought a new IKEA desk and it’s just awesome.

I like blog posts like this as well and am grateful for the prompts. I used to think the question/prompt type posts were not for me- I never used to participate but I’m glad that I do now :). Good luck with the potty training. Ugh, not fun times but this too shall pass and your son WILL get potty trained! Have a great day!

I do love a picnic and eating outside as long as the bugs stay away.
I only have girls but heard boys are so much different when it comes to potty training! Good luck!

Welcome to the Hodgepodge! Thanks for joining in today. I find sometimes the prompts give me something else to blog about later which is a bonus. Good luck with the potty training. Boys are different for sure and we just want it done. It seems so simple lol. Have fun decorating your office.

I do not miss potty training! I just feel antsy for you:) Glad you joined the Hodge Podge. I dont do it every week but I always enjoy it. Both the questions…and finding new blogs!!
