Recapping the week on the blog today! Huxley moved up a room in daycare, Hadley’s field trip, softball tournament, and a Y’alls game! Linking up with Holly and Sarah! Here is the recap…
Monday May 12
Huxley moved up a room in daycare and he did great on his first day! It’s a bigger room, more kids, and more structured. It’s more like a “preschool” type room, they do more activities and more learning, and not so focused on potty training. He’s doing great! Worked out when I got home. Kevin took the driver’s test at the fire department. Hadley and I went to her two makeup softball games.

Tuesday May 13
Hadley had a field trip to a farm with her class. I’m so grateful for the parents that take photos for us parents that cannot be there. The kids did fun things, and Hadley enjoyed herself. Worked out when I got home from work. After we picked up Hadley and Huxley from school, we just chilled outside. Huxley could play with the hose for hours!

Wednesday May 14
Someone left a little duck inside the microwave at work, I laughed when I saw it inside. Worked out when I got home. Kevin umpired a softball game and took Hadley with him. Huxley and I watered the flowers while they were gone. After he got home, I headed out to a sports meeting at Hadley’s school.

Thursday May 15
Day off for me! After the kids were dropped off at school, I started my day with a workout. And then I cleaned the kids’ bathroom, my least favorite thing to clean is a shower! And then I did some errands. Amazon return at Kohl’s. Subway for lunch. And then Target and the dollar tree. After we picked up Huxley at daycare, we went to Kroger for a few things and saw this little robot roaming around the aisles. I asked the cashier what the robot thing was doing, she told me it was taking inventory of what was missing in the aisles. Soo many people were looking at it!

Friday May 16
Hadley had field day, and she was the color purple! She did not tell me what color she was until the night before, so she borrowed a shirt from the neighbor that was a little too small for her, but it worked. Worked out after work. Watered the flowers. And just hungout outside. Kevin and Hadley tossed softball, Huxley rode his scooter and played with toys, and the neighbors came over and just talked for a little bit. It was a nice Friday night outside at home.

Saturday May 17
Softball tournament day! Hadley had two games and they were both in the morning so we were all able to go! She won both games 12-0! Went home and Huxley and Kevin took a nap. After they woke up, we went to the Florence Y’alls baseball game with Hadley’s softball team. It was a team outing and so much fun! It was a first time for us going to this game, and the kids loved it! So much to do and see!

Sunday May 18
Softball tournament day two! I was solo with Huxley this day, Kevin was at the firehouse. Huxley was just amazing all day! I didn’t say it out loud ever, but I was amazed how good he was. We brought all his trucks and toys, and he played with them each game. After the first game, we had a three-hour break in between games. The team and some parents went out to lunch somewhere local, while Huxley and I went to my parents’ house for him to nap. Hadley went to lunch with the team. Huxley slept about twoish hours or so, and I had to wake the poor guy up but at least he got a nap in. He slept in the big queen bed and was in heaven! While he napped, I watered my mom’s flowers on the front porch. After nap, we drove back to the ballfields for game number two and thank goodness the game hadn’t started yet so I didn’t miss any of it! Huxley played with another sibling on the team, and he was so good again! Sadly, Hadley’s team lost and didn’t make it to the championship. We got home early enough for me to clean out my car! It is always a disaster after softball tournaments. So, it was nice to start the week out with a nice clean ride. I need a weekend, from the weekend!
