Happy Wednesday! I’m recapping last week on the blog today! Last day of summer at the pool, Harvest Home parade, Friday night fall ball, and a wine festival. Linking up with Holly and Sarah! Here is the recap…
Monday September 1.
Started the day off work by doing my favorite face mask and eye gels. Made the kids cinnamon rolls for breakfast, with some red and blue sprinkles for Labor Day. After Huxley took a nap, we went to the pool for the last day it was open! The kids ate dinner at the pool, and then we went home. Huxley has slowly started taking showers, when he’s in the mood!
Tuesday September 2.
Huxley woke up with crazy hair! When we got home from work and school, I took a picture of Huxley and had people guess who dressed him for school today? Jammie shirt, and shorts that don’t match. All Kevin. Walked around the neighborhood, ate dinner, and then relaxed on the couch watching some movies with the kids.
Wednesday September 3.
Worked out after work. And then Hadley had softball practice, we drove there, and the family we carpool with took Hadley home.
Thursday September 4.
Worked out after work. Took the kids to the Harvest Home Fair parade! It was Huxley’s first time going, and Hadley’s been a few times. We got there an hour early to get a spot to sit, it was a little hard for Huxley to wait that long for it to start, but once it started, they both loved it!
Friday September 5.
My office is finally coming together! I’ve re-arranged the furniture in there three times now and I think this is the last time. I’m loving it! I just need to get some things on the walls, and a few more things. Hadley had her Friday night fall ball games. Huxley and I stayed home since they were late ones.
Saturday September 6.
Went to a wine festival with my mom and her friend! I had it planned for a few weeks, and told Kevin about it a few times, and he scheduled to work overtime. I saw this picture and immediately thought of him haha! The weather was just beautiful for the wine festival! The people sitting across from us were drinking straight out of the bottle, and I was loving it!
Sunday September 7.
Mowed the grass for my workout Sunday morning. Huxley loves to be out there and pushing his play toy mower. Watched the Bengals barely win over the Browns, man oh man. After dinner we watched Home Alone! Huxley loved it! I love it when my kids like the movies I used to watch as a kid. I can watch that movie over and over. I can actually watch tons of movies over and over!
