I’m joining Joyce for this week’s Wednesday Hodgepodge! Each week she posts questions to answer and share with others. It’s a fun little prompt, and I am glad to be participating.

1. What does patriotism mean to you? My first thought of patriotism is being able to vote! I have voted in every small or big election in my area since I turned 18, and I’m proud of that. Patriotism also means having a love for our country, celebrating the holidays, knowing what others went through for our freedom, things like that.
2. September-October-November…your favorite fall month? Tell us why. If you live in the southern hemisphere use these months but sub spring for the word fall. November is my favorite fall month! We host Thanksgiving at our house and it’s so fun to plan it all!
3. A song you love with the word thanks (or some form of that word) in the title or lyrics? I couldn’t really think of a song off the top of my head, so I looked some up and came up with “thank u, next” by Ariana Grande.
4. November is National Peanut Butter Month. Are you a fan? What’s the last peanut butter bite you had? Fill in the blank: peanut butter and toast .
Oh, and you can’t say jelly.
Yes, I love peanut butter! I am a fan. I used to be a super picky eater growing up, so I had a lot of peanut butter sandwiches for meals.
5. This week’s gratitude question-What event from this past year are you most grateful for? Going back to work!
6. Insert your own random thought here. My sweet daughter is working her butt off in school and sports, she continues to amaze me at the young age of 10!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I love to host. This year we’re going to my daughter’s nearby, and I’ll make some sides for her. It is kind of nice not to have to do the whole meal this year. It’s fun to see our children grow into their gifts and talents. Ten is a wonderful age. Have a great day!
It is so important to vote, I have done for as long as I can remember and my family has. My youngest just signed up to vote now that she’s turned 18, she is excited about it.
Well done your girl, you must be so proud.
Your voting record is something to be proud of! Good answer!
