Weekly Recap.

Happy Tuesday! How is everyone? It snowed yesterday here in Ohio! I can’t believe it! I will always be a summer girl, but their is something magical about the first snow. Hadley is already wishing for snow days now. Linking up with Holly and Sarah! Here is the recap…

Monday November 3.
Total case of the Monday’s for Huxley! He didn’t want to get out of his big boy bed. Hadley loves to hop in his bed and wake him up. Had my annual lady doc appointment after work, the office is looking less and less homely. Got home from work, picked up Hadley at school, she did her homework and then we went to pickup Huxley at daycare. Instead of going straight home, we packed their scooters in the van and headed to the trail! It was so nice outside, sunny, and a little chilly, but so so nice. It was a great after school idea. On this trail, as I have mentioned plenty of times, they are building houses right on this trail which is so weird to me. But anyways, they have a little playground area in front of all the homes so we checked it out.

Huxley’s bedroom is coming along nicely, we have rearranged his furniture to work better for his room. It was so nice to have a Monday night at home! The kids played so nicely together, and it was a nice night at home and not having to be in the car all night for softball practice.

Tuesday November 4.
Voted before work! Hope you did too! It might not be a big presidential election, but it is your civic duty to vote for any election you have in your area. Walked at the trail after work, it is my favorite! The fresh air, the trees, even the weird homes. Hadley had her first night of winter workouts for catching. Her little legs are going to be buff come spring time! Kevin was home and was able to take her to catching. They got there a little early, and the high school girls were having their workout before Hadley’s session. The owner asked Hadley to sub in with the older girls because they had a girl not show up! So she got a little extra in! While Kevin and Hadley were at catching, Huxley and I went outside to see the gigantic moon! It was huge, and looked like a big spotlight shining down on us. Huxley loves to look at the moon any chance he can. We put a bed rail up on Huxley’s bed, makes me feel better he won’t roll off the side since it’s so high. He loves his big boy bed!

Wednesday November 5.
Leaving work and the fall leaves are so pretty! Walked at the trail again! Hadley read Huxley a book before bed, she is just the best sister.

Thursday November 6.
After work, I walked at the trail again and then I ran to Kroger for a few things. When I got home, the first thing I see is Hadley watching softball while doing homework. Some nights I clean the kitchen really good before I go to bed, so when I wake up it’s a nice clean slate. Another chill night at home, and it’s been amazing!

Friday November 7.
Tried a new smoothie recipe before work, I used Good Culture cottage cheese instead of yogurt and it was good! It was show and tell day at Huxleys school, he brought in his big dinosaur truck he got from his grandma. And then later on in the day, his teachers sent a picture of him at school.

It was a little misty raining while I walked on the trail, but I still did it. Took a picture of my sweet minivan haha! I still can’t believe I drive one, but I do like it now! Sliding doors are awesome with kids.

We decided to go to my nephew Max’s football game, he is a senior in high school. We met up with my brother-in-law, and did some tail-gaiting and then watched the game. Both kids were pretty good after being at school all day. It was fun seeing Max play some football!

Saturday November 8.
Worked out in the morning in the basement, now that it is empty I’m trying to do more workouts down there instead of in my small office. Another chill day, and a Saturday at that! We ate dinner in the basement, and then watched a movie. Huxley wasn’t too interested in the movie, he was more interested in running around and jumping on the mattress. It was fun though!

Sunday November 9.
Kevin was at the firehouse for his regular shift. I didn’t move my body until later in the afternoon. I always tell myself to move in the mornings verses later on the weekends at least. Hadley had a volleyball game at 6:15pm. She has a great overhand serve, and is the only one on her team that serves overhand. The game was less than an hour long, which feels like a blink of an eye compared to softball games!

P.S. Happy Veterans Day! This Google image was done by a Florida-based navy veteran. Read more here.
