Happy Monday! How is everyone? The snow was beautiful while it lasted. Linking up with Holly and Sarah! Here is the recap…
Monday November 10.
After I picked up Huxley at school, he wanted to do nothing but go outside. He put his rain boots on, and his little beanie and went to town. He loved the snow! Hadley usually has softball practice on Monday’s, but for the month of November they have a break. So in true Hadley fashion, she asked if any of the other volleyball teams at school had practice that she could go to. Kevin took her to practice. While they were at practice, Huxley and I ran to Gabe’s and got him a new winter coat. It was only $15 too! All of his winter clothes have outgrown him big time, so this winter coat was a steal. I worked out in the basement to a YouTube video.
Tuesday November 11.
Huxley stayed home with Kevin today. Sometimes when we can, Huxley will stay home with his dad just because. Hangout, take a nap at home, things like that, he loves being with his dad. When they woke up, they saw this deer in our backyard. When I got home from work, did a YouTube workout. Hadley and Huxley outside playing on the back deck with the snow. Kevin made the first fire of the season! I took Hadley to her catching workout, I didn’t take any photos just videos.
Wednesday November 12.
The only photo I took on a Wednesday. I love to walk at the trail! Kevin was at the firehouse and I had an athletic meeting up at Hadley’s school. Pretty uneventful hump day.
Thursday November 13.
Another walk at the trail! Kevin put the Christmas lights up! I know it is super early, but it was such a nice day out and it was the perfect opportunity to do it while he was home. We don’t turn the lights on until the day after Thanksgiving! Kevin has been talking about turning them on now! I’m not so sure about it, but the world has started putting up Christmas things earlier and earlier each year.
Friday November 14.
Shh don’t tell Hadley! After we dropped her off at school, we stopped and got Huxley a donut. He was super excited. Hadley had the first trimester award assembly at her school, and she got honor roll! We are so very proud of her. She keeps her grades up, all while being busy with softball year round. She is an amazing kid. After school, we did nothing but hangout at home. Hadley played with the neighborhood kids, while Huxley and I blew the leaves in the backyard. He loves to cart around the little wagon, full of his toys.
Saturday November 15.
Worked out in the morning. Kevin at the firehouse sending me pictures of him holding newborn twins! Ahh how I miss those days. Hadley had a volleyball game, and my parents came. It was such a nice day outside, we spent the rest of the day outside. Even ate dinner at the little play table in the garage. With the time change, it felt like 10pm but it was only 6pm!
Sunday November 15.
Went out to dinner to celebrate Hadley’s birthday with my parents and brother a few days early. She loves queso cheese, so we went to a Mexican restaurant. The staff sang to her and she was a little embarassed, it was so cute!
