I’m joining Joyce for this week’s Wednesday Hodgepodge! Each week she posts questions to answer and share with others. It’s a fun little prompt, and I am glad to be participating.

1. America celebrates turning 250 years old this year. Primary cities set to lead the celebrations on July 4th are Boston, Philadelphia, New York, and Washington D.C. Other significant locations for celebrating will be Charleston SC and the ‘historic triangle’ which includes Jamestown-Williamsburg-Yorktown Virginia.
Of the cities listed how many have you seen in person? Of the cities listed which would you must like to visit this year? Any plans to do so? What’s one place in America you think everyone should see? If you’re not American what’s one place in the US you’d like to see? I have not been to any of those cities! I would love to see Boston and D.C. New York seems kinda scary to visit right now haha I’d love to see a baseball game in Boston, and would love to site see all over D.C. For me personally, I think everyone should see the ocean if they haven’t before. The ocean is my absolute favorite.
2. Three sounds you love to hear? Ocean waves, my kids belly laughing, and crackling fires.
3. Three sounds you hate to hear? Chewing with mouth open, tapping, and snoring.
4. February 24th is/was National Tortilla Chip Day. Are you a fan? With salsa, guacamole, queso, or just plain please? Do you like nachos? With what on top? Is there anything (besides nachos) you make that calls for tortilla chips? I love my chips with white cheese! That’s it, pretty basic.
5. We March into March with next week’s Hodgepodge…what’s one thing on your March calendar that makes you smile? My birthday next week! And St. Patrick’s Day is always fun!
6. Insert your own random thought here. I can’t believe America has been around for 250 years!

I am glad there is someone else out there who hasn’t visited these cities. hehehe
Kids laughing is the best sound, it always makes me so happy when my girls proper belly laugh!
Happy birthday to you for next week!
Haha yes! We typically just go to Florida for vacation and that’s it!
