I started something new in 2025, listening to books on audio! And I am still going strong in 2026! I feel like an old lady, but I have really started to like it. I still can’t read an actual book without falling asleep, but listening to one? I love it!
I use the Libby app, and it’s free! All you have to do is enter your library card into the app, and it’s like checking out books at the library except on your phone. You can read books on the app also, I just prefer audio.

RECAP OF QUARTER 1 – 2026:
The book that surprised me the most that I liked was The Reckoning by John Grisham. It was my first Grisham book and I enjoyed it! I want to read some more of his this year.
To go from reading / listening to no books at all, to reading two years in a row? I am amazed at myself. I seriously never thought I’d like audio books but I do! It’s something different. Maybe it’s a phase I’m in, maybe I am turning into an old lady, but I like it for now! I am realizing I am not a good book reviewer. I either say I loved it, or I didn’t. I don’t really go into much detail about each book, I guess I don’t want to give it away. I don’t know. I am just enjoying this!
