Weekly Recap.

Happy Monday! How is everyone? Ready to hear about yet another busy week we had? Linking up with Holly and Sarah! Here is the recap…

Monday April 13.
After I took the kids to school, I came home to workout and then headed to the dentist. I had to get a root canal at a root canal specialist place my regular dentist referred me to. I don’t know why, but I have always been bad with my teeth! I despise going to the dentist! And I always make it worse for myself. So anyway, after I got numbed up which felt like it took forever, they got started. After I was done, my mouth felt so big, and it was all red from being wide open for so long. One thing I did like was one of those mouth pieces they put in the other side of my mouth to hold it open, instead of me holding it open!

After school, we walked to the mailbox to check the mail. After homework, Hadley got ready for softball practice. She looked so cute in her visor! After we dropped off Hadley, Huxley and I came home and played outside.

Tuesday April 14.
After work I walked at the trail, it was so nice out! Huxley played outside for a little bit before we had to leave for catching. He cracks me up how he’ll wear garden gloves, and pretends they are his work gloves. He loves to work on his toys. Hadley has started doing her own bubble braids, her hair is getting so long! And then we took her to catching lessons.

Wednesday April 15.
We went to a college softball game with Hadley’s team. It was the NKU vs UK game. Huxley had a blast walking around with the girls, and holding Kevin’s phone listening to music. It looked like he was talking to someone the whole time! After the game, we went out to eat with the team.

Thursday April 16.
Kevin was off work and took Huxley to the lake with him! My mother-in-law needed her bed moved to the basement since she got a new bed. Huxley loves riding in the gator, and just loves to be outside there. After work, I walked at the trail and took an awkward photo of myself because their was some creepy guy on the other side of the truck with his dogs. Kevin and Huxley got home late afternoon, and Huxley was excited to see Hadley and was talking her ear off in the garage. We all took Hadley to her school softball practice and sat outside and watched. It was so nice outside. After practice, we grilled hamburgers and ate on the back deck. The kids stayed up way too late past their bedtime, on a school night, but it was just so nice out.

Friday April 17.
After work, I cut the grass. After dinner, we took a walk around the neighborhood. And early to bed since Hadley had a softball tournament the next day.

Saturday April 18.
Tournament day! Huxley went to my parents for the day and spent the night since Hadley’s games wouldn’t be over until after 10pm, and it was a two-hour drive home from Lexington, KY. No one on the team prepared for low 40 degree weather! We were all freezing! The weather forecast kept saying high 60’s, and then it just dropped. Hadley had a good tournament, except she got hit in the ankle when she was up to bat. Poor kid can’t catch a break! It hurt so she sat out the next game. Her team lost going into the finals. But I thought they played good! My parents figured out how to watch Game Changer on the big TV, so they were watching at home with Huxley!

Sunday April 19.
Sunday morning, Kevin was at the firehouse and Hadley and I headed over to my parents to pick up Huxley. They watched one of Hadley’s shows on her phone on the way home. Huxley was tired! He plays hard at my parents house nonstop. After Huxley’s nap, Hadley made us chicken quesadilla’s for dinner, and we ate it in the basement. We watched the movie Hook, and they were both loving it. I love how they love the movies I grew up watching! After dinner, Hadley convinced us to go to Zip Dip even though it was freezing! Kevin met us there after he got off at the firehouse.
