I’m joining Joyce for this week’s Wednesday Hodgepodge! Each week she posts questions to answer and share with others. It’s a fun little prompt, and I am glad to be participating.

1. What do you make more complicated than it needs to be?
Decisions on what to make for dinner! Did you ever think deciding on what to eat for dinner every night would be so complicated? Least favorite thing. Besides cleaning bathrooms lol
2. What impresses you?
My daughter. She is just the best kiddo. She has friends at school. She has friends on her softball team who don’t go to her school. She is happy with whatever she chooses to do. She is the only kid I know that does not suffer from fomo. She could care less! If she has her mind made up on something, she is fine with it. She has such courage and determination. I hope she carries those qualities through her school years and beyond.
3. On a scale of 1-10 how picky of an eater are you? (1=extremely and 10=not at all) If you had to eat a meal made entirely of one color what color would you choose?
I would go with a 7 or 8. I used to be extremely picky when I was younger, and all the way up to my thirties. Now I will eat more, and try more things. One color? Probably dark brown, a ribeye steak!
4. What does balance in life mean to you? Does your life currently feel ‘balanced’?
Balanced in life to me means intentionally distributing your time and energy across things like work, relationships, health, and personal growth. I do currently feel balanced, with the exception of relationships. It’s hard to keep up with friendships, we all try to meet for dinner a few times a year, but it’s still hard with husbands, kids, sports, school, etc.
5. If you could travel the world for a year what would be your first destination?
Italy! Anywhere in Italy!
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Excited for a long weekend of softball, and Huxley will be having fun at his grandparents!
