Recapping the week on the blog! Labor Day, school mass, Harvest Home parade, girls night, and the wine festival!
Monday September 2
Happy Labor Day! I started out the day with my favorite face mask cream, and under eye masks! The two products I’ve been using is the Clarins Face Mask Cream and the Retinol Under Eye Masks. The face cream is pricey, so I only buy that one when it’s on major sale and use it like once a week. The retinol collagen under eye masks are a bit more in my price range, and are so good! Did a YouTube workout, and I recently added in weights to my workouts. I do about a ten minute dumbbell workout, I started with five pound weights and have recently moved up to ten pound weights. Hadley is off school, and she loves to play with the kids in our neighborhood. Just this past summer, she has made so many new friends in our neighborhood, and I just love that for her! Watching all the kids ride their bikes down the street is just so fun. Poor Hadley is the only kid without a bike though, we are going to get her one either for her birthday or Christmas! The kids had Sonic for dinner, and I had some hamburgers. We had a fun chill Labor Day!

Tuesday September 3
Worked out in the morning and that’s pretty much it. Did the usual, picked up Hadley from school, did the dreaded homework with her, had dinner, then went to bed. Nothing too exciting!

Wednesday September 4
Went to Hadley’s all school mass in the morning, Hadley was so excited. Even as a big fourth grader! Worked out when I got home, while Kevin went to sleep. He had a rough shift the night before, and stayed up with Huxley while I went to mass.

Thursday September 5
Wild turkeys walking across our front yard in the morning, it’s still so crazy to me how many random wild animals we come across in our yard. Did a YouTube workout. Hadley brought home her very first big kid test as I call it, and got a 100%! In fourth grade, is when they start getting letter grades. So proud of her. Kevin took the kids to a parade, and sent me so many photos and videos, Huxley loved every second of it! I went to dinner / happy hour with girls from my high school at a new brewery. The atmosphere was really fun!

Friday September 6
After we dropped Hadley off at school, Huxley and I walked the trail. He loves watching all the diggers and construction people build houses along the trail. After our walk, we went to Kroger to get a few things. The car cart is the best thing for Huxley if we take him grocery shopping, it keeps him entertained almost the whole time. My dad is hiking with his brother up in Canada, and some of the photos he sends are just so beautiful. Hadley had a double header softball game this night, but I stayed home with Huxley because her games are kind of late. I tried to watch the games live on game changer but they kept pausing every few seconds which made it hard to watch. She hit a triple in the second game!

Saturday September 7
Did a YouTube workout in the morning, and then after Huxley took a nap we met my mom at a wine festival. I was supposed to go with just her, but Kevin got a detail for the fire department so I had to take the kids. They were pretty good despite the circumstances, and surprisingly enough their were a lot of kids there. The weather was just awesome!

Sunday September 8
Did a YouTube workout, and watched the first regular season Bengals game. So hard to watch. It’s hard being a Bengals fan most of the time! Huxley coloring with his new markers his grandma sent him in the mail. He was going to town! We had a busy week!

Thank you, so proud!
Aww so glad Hadley is making friends-we have to get Eva a bike too! 🙂
Me too!
