Happy Tuesday! How is everyone? The snow is still here, but is slowly melting! The temperature is getting warmer this week! Linking up with Holly and Sarah! Here is the recap…

Monday February 2.
Monday was National Catchers Day, we love our catcher girl. I went with the big AI trend on asking chat GPT to create a caricature of my life. It pretty much nailed it! And even made me look 10 years younger!

Tuesday February 3.
Snow day for Hadley! It was for the “possibility of snow”, before the snow had even started. Amazes me what the kids these days have for snow days compared to what I did as a kid. Having to sit and watch the tv for your school to come on in alphabetical order. I don’t really remember not having school in case it might snow. The school I work at had a remote learning day in preparation of the potential snow coming. I did another chat GPT picture and added in the hubby and kids. Very accurate depiction of my life! Kevin and I finished The Landman, it was so good! Can’t wait for the next season to come out this year.

Wednesday February 4.
Huxley had show and tell day at school, he brought his Donald Duck firetruck. I love how they take pictures of them! Worked out after I got home from work. Pretty chill Wednesday.

Thursday February 5.
Worked out when I got home. Kevin took Hadley to catching. I went to the UC game with my brother, it was good to catch up.

Friday February 6.
Huxley’s school is having a fun themed week! I always take a picture of those things so I can try not to forget. Another weird snow day, it started snowing pretty steadily mid-morning. Hadley had her 11 year old checkup, so I left work in the morning but decided to cancel the checkup because we would’ve been late with how fast the snow was coming down and I didn’t want to risk it driving in all of that. Work is maybe 20 minutes away from home, and it took me almost an hour to get home in the snow.

Saturday February 7.
Softball practice for Hadley in the morning. We took the first 10 minutes of practice to draw the numbers for the Superbowl squares. After practice, one of the girls on the team had a birthday party at a bowling alley. After bowling, one of the girls came back to our house for a sleepover.

Sunday February 8.
For lunch, I went to Chipotle and Starbucks for the girls. On my way into the garage, I managed to spill Hadley’s all over the floor. She was so bummed. We had some some softball friends over for the Superbowl, Hadley and Huxley were super excited. Hadley’s softball team’s Superbowl square board made it fun to watch the game, keeping track of when someone was to be paid out. Wasn’t a huge fan of the halftime show, would rather it have been in English since we live in America and all. It was a good setup and all, just seems like the halftime shows the past few years have been a bit much. I miss the days when it was just a singer and a stage!
