I am a huge fan of giving to others. I love to show appreciation wherever I can. Hadley has been on a select softball team for the past year, she played fall and spring ball. The coach’s do not have any daughters on the team, and volunteer because they love the game that much. We have been so lucky with our first select team as they call it, for coaches, and I wanted to show just how much we appreciated them.
Each coach got a small white bin filled with laffy taffy, sunflower seeds, nerd clusters, a lotto ticket and a special gift. The three assistant coaches each got a personalized keychain. The head coach got a personalized bourbon glass with his name on it, and the name of the team, and the year.

For a little treat for the girls on the softball team, I got them all Big League chew bubble gum. The variety pack, you can purchase here by the way, came in four flavors. Original, strawberry, grape, and sour apple. I made a little sign to go with each pack of gum, the green sign is for our team colors! The girls loved it!

The above photo was the end of Hadley’s first season on a select team. They lost in their final tournament, didn’t win one single game. But, it didn’t matter. These girls learned so much with these coaches, they played their little hearts out the best they could. And it was all because of the coaches.
This was truly an experience that can never be taken away from my daughter. She continues to develop. And as long as she continues to love this sport, her dad and I will be right there with her cheering her on.

Really cute ideas and so thoughtful.
The coaches loved it!
