Happy Tuesday folks! Recapping the week on the blog today. Softball, 2024 election, first volleyball game, and a birthday. Linking up with Holly and Sarah! Here is the recap…
Monday November 4
Kevin made our neighbor down the street his chocolate chip cookies for his birthday! This neighbor was obsessed with the cookies when we had them for our lemonade stand, so Kevin promised to make them for his birthday! Kevin worked the UC football game, and Hadley had softball. Mondays are always nonstop which is why this is the only photo I took for the day!
Tuesday November 5
Early in the morning before work and school, Brady’s dog was having a staring contest with a deer in the backyard. It was pretty funny. The deer just stood there, and the dog did the same thing. After work, voted in the election! Came home and worked out, and then off to softball.
Wednesday November 6
Tried a new coffee house before work, and tried the chai tea there. It was okay, but I ordered it different than the regular way so I might go back and try it the regular way. Hadley had softball at the Cincinnati Reds camp, and they took a bunch of photos and sent them to the parents. Northern Kentucky University softball girls took this camp on, Hadley loves it!
Thursday November 7
Wore matching bracelets to work, one of them my aunt made for our girls trip to Brown County, Indiana. Hadley had spanish after school, and then volleyball. Watched the Bengals lose at the last minute, it’s so hard to be a Bengals fan! Kevin fell asleep with Hadley, I went into her bedroom to wake him up and found them both sleeping identical! It was too cute.
Friday November 8
Someone I follow on Instagram posted that if you voted red in this election, that her page isn’t the place for you. I have been following her for a long time now, and support her small business, and enjoy watching her raise her twins. I messaged her, and this was her response. Isn’t that crazy? I know politics is a sketchy subject with some people and should not be discussed which I completely agree with. However, we are all free to vote for whoever we want and still be civil with each other! Her handle on Instagram is jamiedawn if you are at all curious! Worked out after I got home from work and played outside after school. It was nice to have a chill night!
Saturday November 9
Worked out in the morning, and then went to Hadleys first volleyball game. She missed the first two games due to softball tournaments. She played so good! Huxley and I were there by ourselves, Kevin was working overtime. Huxley did good being in the small tiny bleachers. After volleyball, Hadley had her friend over to hangout, and her neighbor friend came over too.
Sunday November 10
Worked out in the morning! Bradys dog found a new home today, he realized how much work having a dog is and thanks to my aunt’s friend, she found a new home. Brady turned twenty years old today too! We are going to celebrate another day since he had plans with his mom.
