Our Huxley Beau is three years old today. Three years old! Taking a break from my Friday Favorites because our little man is to be celebrated today. I can never believe it when the day comes, and your kids become a year older. It always goes too fast, every single time.
I said this same thing last year, but I’m not going to forget to celebrate myself too. As a mom, what we do every single day, twenty-four hours a day, is definitely worth celebrating. So, here’s to all the moms out there, cheers to you too.
And happy third birthday Huxley Beau, we love you so much.
We are having a garbage truck themed birthday party for his third year! We can’t wait to celebrate him turning another year older. We had to push his party back two weeks because he and his sister Hadley are both not feeling the best. It’s a weird and crazy sickness season this year!

Aw, he is going to love that party! At least you had notice on the sickness and got to push the party back. Our middle son’s birthday is in January and I think hardly a year went by that someone in the house wasn’t sick and we had to cancel (or someone threw up mid-party and the house was vacated in minutes!). I remember one party in particular that we had everything all set up the food made and out… and *bam* someone got sick. We ended up meeting each guest at the door with goodie bags, explaining the situation, and sending them on their way. I sure hope both your kiddos are feeling better real soon!!
January & February birthdays are tough I feel like, it’s in the heart of sick/flu season!
